This bushing is used on our greaseless firming and closing kits. They are very strong compared to even steel for its intended application. They are not from nylon so they do not expand with moisture or temperature and they will not shift inside the housing. They are an American technology that are made in the USA. We install these in almost every drill we have serviced since 2018. These reduce the labor of having to grease the zerk, as you never ever grease these. Even when they eventually start to get sticky, you only have to remove the pin and use an air hose or soft brush to get out the built up material that the bushing sheds. Almost all cases under 40 thousand acres in the firming joint, removing the build-up, will solve the issue without having to remove or buy new bushing. We have been finding that the joint maintains well into spec for slop when doing this. It is quite an amazing bushing. This is probably the reason that John Deere started using these same bushings in their greaseless kits of their ProSeries opener. Most of all, these bushings are the only wear of the kit, the steel or stainless steel pins do not wear and can be used again once you have to replace the bushings. This saves money.
